General This specification is not to be altered without written confirmation.
The supplier has the right and is expected, to cut orders if quality cannot be attained for reasons such as:
  • Inferior raw material
  • Staff absenteeism
  • Equipment breakdown
  • Material shortages

In the event of the finished product not conforming to TZAMAC specification, the Marketing dept. or Quality dept. must immediately be informed.

Product Description Boxed Macadamia Nut Kernels from the hybrid and integrofolia nut varieties.  They are sorted according to specified styles, dried and vacuum packed.

Where will it be sold Food processing plants.  The majority of the product is destined for export in bulk.  Once opened, moisture content should be kept below 1.5%.  Tzamac is a wholesaler of raw macadamia nuts.
Final Customer Preparation Intended for further processing, roasting, value adding or retail packing by other industrial food companies.
PHYSICAL SPECIFICATION:
Allergens
The macadamia is a nut and will thus cause all symptoms associated with a nut allergy.  There are not traces of peanuts or peanut oil as the pack house packs macadamia nuts exclusively.  Macadamia nuts also contain the potential allergens glutamic acid, phenylalanine, and the sugars, glucose, sucrose and fructose.

Possible Product Abuses
Shelf life will not be attained if product is kept in direct sunlight / heat or not in the absence of oxygen.  Keep product under dry and well ventilated conditions at <25ºC

Low water activity in kernel, thus inhibiting microbial growth
